Baobab Yoga Safari

About

IMAGINE a Yoga session with the awe-inspiring ‘Wonder of the World’ Victoria Falls as your backdrop!

Or perhaps in the raw African bush with wild elephants as your companions?

The Baobab Yoga Safari comprises of 11 nights, with early morning and evening sessions every day.  Our current programme involves the first three nights in the Matopos just outside Bulawayo, staying at Camp Amalinda.  There are a number of highlights including trekking on foot for a glimpse of the White Rhino, viewings of the ancient San Bushmen paintings and a visit to Rhodes grave.

The following three nights are in the Hwange National Park staying at Sable Valley – a sister camp to Amalinda. The Park boasts the largest concentration of elephant in the whole of Africa.

Then four nights at Lokuthula Lodges, adjacent to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. This is a stunning finale to the programme, topped by the sunrise yoga session – with rare special permission – inside the rain forest of the mightiest waterfall on the planet.

Dinners include the rousing Boma cultural experience; a sunset cruise; a vibrant township experience at Dusty Roads and a farewell gala dinner at the Makuwa-Kuwa, signature restaurant of the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge.
